Job summary

Doteks Textile is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our Head Office in Bağcılar, Istanbul. We export to globally renowned brands and require managing quotations, coordinates with the sample room, and entering orders into our ERP system.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields, with 5+ years in textiles (woven/denim).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the textile industry, woven or denim.
• Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting price quotations to customers.
• Coordinating with the sample room by providing necessary information for requested samples.
• Entering order and collection details into the ERP system.
• Providing required approvals to the Production Planning Department in a timely and accurate manner.
• Following up all processes from order confirmation to shipment and keeping customers regularly informed.

General Qualifications:

• Graduated from universities with a degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields,
• Strong fashion and brand awareness,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the textile industry, specifically in woven or denim,
• Proficient in ERP systems,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• No restrictions for travel,
• For male candidates, military service completed,
• Residing on the European side of Istanbul.
