Job summary

Randstad Türkiye in Istanbul-Kadıköy is seeking a Supply Chain and Material Planner Specialist for a 12-month maternity cover. You will manage inbound logistics, material planning, procurement, transportation, and customs clearance from PO to receipt.

The role requires SAP MM experience, international trade knowledge, and strong coordination with suppliers and internal teams. This is an on-site role in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade and Logistics, or a related field.
• APICS certification will be an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical experience in Material Requirements Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Control, Operational Buying.
• Experience in international trade (import/export, transit trade, dropshipments), international transportation, and customs procedures.
• SAP MM knowledge; SAP SD is an asset.
• Experience with IBP or a demand planning software will be an asset.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Advanced English speaking and writing proficiency.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with initiative and communication skills.
• Analytical, proactive problem solver.
• Ability to give and receive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of materials from suppliers to the warehouse to satisfy orders.
• Handle purchase orders with factories daily, including rescheduling and expediting.
• Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and customs broker for import/export operations.
• Compile import costs (freight, customs) and report to Accounting.
• Manage goods receiving in SAP and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Support SCM Manager with daily operations of 3rd party customs broker.
• Gather documents needed for customs clearance and post-market audits.
• Provide accurate delivery dates for sales inquiries.
• Review customer return requests with SCM and Country Sales Manager.
• Process material returns and buybacks from customers.
• Monitor samples and manage return to stock or invoicing.
• Organize reverse logistics for defective products.
