Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Sakarya, Turkey seeks a Material Planning Supervisor to oversee material orders, align with production plans, and maintain supplier agreements to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.

The role requires SAP-based material management, advanced Excel reporting, and fluency in Turkish and English. You will optimize lead times, coordinate logistics, monitor shortages, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while complying with KVKK regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience in material planning, supply chain, or production control.
Extensive experience using SAP for material management and order processing.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
Willingness to relocate to Sakarya, Sakarya Province, Turkey.

Responsibilities

Execute and approve material orders in alignment with production plans and supplier agreements.
Manage end-to-end order confirmations with suppliers to ensure supply chain continuity.
Optimize supplier lead times and MOQ to balance inventory levels.
Coordinate with logistics providers and transport companies for timely material pickups and deliveries.
Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of all material planning reports and outputs.
Identify actions to enhance material cycle speed and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
Monitor critical material status and develop robust action plans for shortages.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure synchronized operational flow.
Ensure ISMS and KVKK compliance and report security incidents as required.
