Job summary

ING is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Wholesale Banking - Multinational Client Relationship Management. The role supports Senior Account Managers with multinational client portfolios and helps identify business opportunities for major clients.

You will coordinate with global product and risk teams to structure tailor-made solutions, maintain ongoing dialogue across geographies, and ensure robust CDD/KYC compliance while advancing client relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably from Administrative Sciences, Economics, Engineering).
Minimum 5 years of banking experience in client relationship management.
In-depth understanding of all wholesale banking products.
Understanding risk and financial analysis.
In-depth understanding of market trends & macro economics.
Result oriented analytical thinker with multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent team-player with strong oral/written communication skills, eager to learn and develop.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Account Managers with their assigned multinational client portfolios to build trusted relationships and to identify clients’ business opportunities.
Involve in or support the Senior Account Managers in managing and expanding the overall business relationship with existing multinational corporate clients as well as identifying and initiating relationships with prospect multinational clients.
Involve in or support the team in coordinating the delivery of ING’s global product and network capabilities to clients, structuring and executing tailor-made solutions with product, country and risk teams.
Develop and keep regular dialogue with Parent Account Managers (PAMs) in various geographies to pursue multinational client relationships.
Develop and keep regular dialogue with global and local product teams.
Support or involve in securing relevant internal commercial and risk approvals for credit reviews and transactions together with PAMs, product and sector teams.
Acting in line with Bank policies and ING Orange Code principles; ensure CDD/KYC processes are properly conducted and valid CDD/KYC statuses are in place for Wholesale Banking Multinational Clients.
