Job summary

Farplas is seeking a Sales and Business Development Team Member to lead customer quotations, coordinate feasibility studies with cross-functional teams, and manage commercial aspects of new automotive projects. The role requires travel and strong English skills, with German preferred.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of automotive project management or sales experience, excellent negotiation and communication abilities, and a willingness to relocate within Türkiye.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, sales/marketing, or product costing in automotive industry.
• Advanced English is a must; German preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent reporting, verbal and written communication.
• Analytical, customer- and results-oriented approach.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
• Military service completed for male candidates.
• Reside in, or relocate to, the Asian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quotation process for customers’ new projects and coordinate feasibility studies with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct cost analyses and manage commercial negotiations with customers.
• Manage budgets and oversee commercial aspects of engineering changes within project teams.
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities in Türkiye and globally.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering to monitor technologies and present projects to customers.
• Negotiate pricing agreements after product launches and report on project closure.
• Perform pricing simulations and analyses for price increases or reductions.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Track cost impact of engineering changes and coordinate approval processes.
