Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities across the manufacturing site, ensuring equipment reliability.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Control and maintain up-to-date maintenance documentation, logs, histories, and checklists.
• Plan and coordinate scheduled shutdowns.
• Coordinate with Process for continuous improvement and supervise maintenance technicians.

Our client is a leading global manufacturing company with a strong international presence and well-established production operations in Türkiye.

To support its continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for a Maintenance Executive who will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, minimizing production downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site.

About the Role

Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Maintenance Executive will be responsible for leading all maintenance activities across the manufacturing site, ensuring equipment reliability, operational continuity, and minimum production downtime.

The role will lead preventive and planned maintenance, breakdown management, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives, while managing the maintenance team, spare parts planning, and coordination with Production, Process, and Engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving mechanical failures,
• Implementing preventive maintenance, planned maintenance, breakdown maintenance, TPM, and 5S practices,
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems,
• Controlling and maintaining up-to-date maintenance documentation, including daily logs, machine history records, checklists, and planned maintenance records,
• Planning and coordinating scheduled shutdowns,
• Coordinating with the Process Department on continuous improvement initiatives and structured problem-solving activities,
• Training and developing maintenance technicians reporting to the position,
• Managing spare parts inventory; defining spare parts lists and minimum stock levels, supporting supplier development activities, and following up on procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Preferably 7–12 years of experience in maintenance processes within a manufacturing environment,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills; capable of working closely and collaboratively with other departments,
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and work effectively with blue-collar employees,
