Job summary

Toyota Boshoku Türkiye is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Engineering & Maintenance Department in Adapazarı (Sakarya). You will lead injection molding and polyurethane processes, ensuring safety, quality and high equipment availability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics and 4+ years of related experience, with strong problem solving and willingness to travel internationally. Fluency in English is essential and relocation to Sakarya or nearby is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics.
• Preferably 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, injection molding, polyurethane processes, project management, or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding, manufacturing processes, polyurethane applications, machine parameters, material properties, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SQL, network systems, and C++ or C# programming.
• PLC programming knowledge, preferably Mitsubishi and Siemens.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience with Japanese suppliers or OEMs is an asset.
• Automotive industry experience and TPS knowledge are assets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of CATIA/AutoCAD and tooling/project tools like Moldflow and AutoForm.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to travel internationally for training and business.
• Completed military service or exempt (male).
• Residing in Sakarya or Kocaeli or willing to relocate.
• Valid driver's license and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

As Toyota Boshoku Türkiye, we are looking for a “Maintenance Engineer” working in the Engineering & Maintenance Department, located in Adapazarı (Sakarya).

Job Description

Your Responsibilites:

• Lead injection molding, seat manufacturing, polyurethane engineering, and maintenance activities.
• Improve injection molding and seat manufacturing process efficiency while ensuring safety, quality, and operational availability.
• Focus on part quality by eliminating process- and equipment-related defects and scrap.
• Analyze technical drawings for new projects and review global standards and quality requirements.
• Identify process risks in line with PFMEA and IATF requirements; prepare process plans, control equipment specifications, production volume and capacity calculations, and project schedules while ensuring timely follow-up.
• Monitor and improve secondary injection molding and polyurethane molding systems, including cooling systems, raw material feeding systems, mold heating and changing units, welding equipment, jigs, rotary tables, and robot trajectories to identify Kaizen opportunities.
• Contribute to injection molding, polyurethane, welding, and tooling Kaizen activities to improve operational availability and GSPH performance.
• Plan and execute preventive, periodic, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain machine and plant maintenance standards and work instructions.

• Completed military service or exempt from military service (for male candidates).
• Residing in, or willing to relocate to, Sakarya or Kocaeli.
