Job summary

MAT Filtration Technologies in Izmir, Turkey, seeks a Mechanical Production Team Leader to oversee the daily activities of the mechanical production team, align with production plans, and drive efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments, ensure adherence to drawings and procedures, and develop blue-collar staff through training and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in mechanical production or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in team leadership or production supervision.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Experience in production organization, workflow management and efficiency studies.
• Able to manage and coordinate blue-collar employees.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP (preferably Netsis).
• Preferably experienced in SolidWorks.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating the daily activities of the mechanical production team in line with production plans and work orders.
• Ensuring production activities are carried out efficiently, safely and in accordance with quality standards.
• Monitoring production processes and taking timely corrective actions for delays, quality issues, or operational problems.
• Following up on production targets, productivity, efficiency and performance indicators; preparing reports.
• Coordinating with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensuring processes comply with drawings, procedures, quality standards and company requirements.
• Monitoring safe use of machinery, equipment and materials.
• Identifying training needs of blue-collar employees and supporting performance evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety policies.
• Promoting a safe, disciplined and collaborative environment within the team.

Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. We are looking for 'Mechanical Production Team Leader' with the qualifications below;

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical production or manufacturing environments,
• Previous experience in team leadership, production supervisor, or a similar role,
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and production operations,
• Experienced in production organization, workflow management, and efficiency improvement studies,
• Able to effectively manage and coordinate blue-collar employees,
• Good command of English, both verbal and written,
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP program ( preferably Netsis)
• Preferably experienced in SolidWorks,
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills,
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills,
• Result-oriented, organized, and able to follow up tasks effectively,
