Job summary

Ülker is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Ankara factory to uphold reliability and drive improvements across production equipment and automation systems. You will lead troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

Join a team focused on TPM, OEE, RCA and data-driven maintenance, with exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT and machine vision in a growing food

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in Maintenance and/or Automation in FMCG or process industries.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization experience.
• Familiarity with TPM, OEE, RCA, SAP PM, CMMS.
• Interest in machine vision, IoT, and data-driven maintenance.

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of production equipment and automation systems.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, commissioning, and performance optimization across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
• Contribute to preventive, predictive, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, productivity, and OEE performance.
• Support the implementation and development of Industry 4.0 applications, including IoT, data-driven maintenance, and machine vision technologies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and occupational health & safety standards.

Key Deliverables:

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of production equipment and automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, commissioning, and performance optimization activities across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
• Contribute to preventive, predictive, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, productivity, and OEE performance.
• Support the implementation and development of Industry 4.0 applications, including IoT, data-driven maintenance, and machine vision technologies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and occupational health & safety standards.

What Do You Need for This Role?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Previous experience in Maintenance and/or Automation within FMCG, food manufacturing, or other process industries.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation systems with a multidisciplinary approach.
• Experience working with both legacy and modern production equipment, or the adaptability to operate effectively in such environments.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems; experience with third-party software tools or 3D design applications is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimizing sensors, servo systems, drives, and motors.
• Familiarity with TPM, OEE, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Maintenance Management Systems (SAP PM, CMMS, etc.).
• Interest in or exposure to machine vision, IoT technologies, and data-driven maintenance practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a 24/7 manufacturing environment and coordinate with cross-functional operational teams when required.
• Leadership potential to manage and develop frontline technical teams.
