Job summary

Vesuvius, a global leader in molten metal flow engineering and technology, is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Kütahya to oversee preventive maintenance, reliability, and safety. You will conduct inspections, coordinate repairs, develop maintenance schedules, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with PPE and lockout/tagout protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronic, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
• 9+ years of experience in electrical & mechanical maintenance at production sites
• Knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Very good command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability
• Collaborate with production to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operation
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance
• Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance task
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE usage
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance

We are now looking for a Maintenance Lead in Kütahya.

Maintenance Lead will be responsible for:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
• Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operation
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance
• Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance task
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
• 9+ years of experience in Electrical & Mechanical maintenance at production sites
• Knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Advanced level of MS Office application
• Hard-working, highly motivated and team play
• Good analytical, planning and organizational skills, relationship management.
