Job summary
A construction company in Singapore is seeking an individual to assist the Project Manager in daily operations. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, inspecting sites for safety, and ensuring work meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Assist Project Manager or Project Engineer in daily execution of work.
- Supervise subcontractors and in-house workers.
- Monitor progress and quality of work.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction sites to identify safety hazards.
- Ensure installation according to construction drawings.
- Attend daily tool-box meetings and convey instructions.
- To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work.
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
- To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
- Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
- Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
- Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
