NATIONAL YOUTH TEAM COACH (RIFLE)
The Singapore Shooting Association ("SSA") is seeking a Rifle Coach for our National Youth Team ("NYT"). The appointed Coach will be responsible for the following:
- Raise the standards of the NYT athletes so that they can compete and win in regional and international competitions such as the Asian Youth Games, Youth Olympic Games, Southeast Asia Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
- Introduce air gun athletes to small‑bore events effectively and consistently.
- Develop individual training programmes, organise and co‑coordinate the training for each athlete assigned to him/her, ensuring that all athletes are given the opportunity to maximise their potential.
- Submit regular progress reports of each athlete as directed by the Training & Competition Manager.
- Conduct coaching lessons or any other task as assigned by SSA.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess Singapore Citizenship.
- Possess full NROC Certification.
- Possess International Shooting Sport Federation ("ISSF") Coaching License OR possess technical knowledge in ISSF disciplines through competitive shooting as a national athlete.
- Have prior experience coaching at any level for a minimum of two (2) years.
- Should have an understanding of the athletes' pathway, especially in relation to the development of talent, skills and knowledge.
- Must possess good organisational and administrative skills.

Sports Coach (2026 Primary School Programmes)
About the Role
We’re looking for energetic, outgoing, and passionate individuals to join our team as Sports Coaches. You’ll lead fun and engaging sports sessions for primary school students, helping them develop coordination, agility, and teamwork through a variety of multi‑sport activities.
This position is also a great stepping stone for those who want to learn how to teach and manage multi‑sport programmes. Many of our coaches have gone on to become PE teachers in MOE and international schools, building valuable hands‑on experience and strong mentoring foundations through this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site sports sessions in primary schools.
- Lead and demonstrate multi‑sport activities such as Captain’s Ball, Rounders, Handball, Frisbee and more.
- Carry out fun drills and exercises to develop coordination, balance, agility, and movement skills.
- Planning of sports events/camps.
- Assess students’ progress using SDQ (Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire) to support their overall development.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a positive image at all times.
- Be a role model — children look up to your energy, attitude, and enthusiasm.
- Share your sports experience and passion to inspire and motivate students.
- Ensure safety, discipline, and engagement during every session.
- Oversee coaches’ deployment and ensure all classes are conducted appropriately.
- Participate in company and coaches’ team bonding sessions to build a strong, united coaching community.
- Attend mandatory training to stay aligned with programme standards.
Requirements
- Outgoing, friendly, and enjoys working with children (ages 7–12).
- Punctual, responsible, and has a genuine heart for coaching.
- MOE Registration (free – we’ll assist you).
- Valid First Aid and AED Certificate (sponsorship provided).
- Sports‑related qualifications (ITE, Polytechnic, or Degree) are an advantage — but no prior experience is required.
