Job summary

A leading insurance company in Singapore is seeking a motor claim surveyor to inspect and verify damage claims. The successful candidate will negotiate repair costs, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with repairers in English and Mandarin. Required qualifications include GCE O Level or a Diploma in Motor mechanics, at least 3 years of experience in the motor industry, and a Certificate in General Insurance. This role demands travel to the location using your own vehicle.

Qualifications

  • GCE O Level or Diploma or Nitec 2 in Motor mechanics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the motor industry.
  • Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and confirm damage of the claim subject.
  • Negotiate and communicate repair scope and costs.
  • Prepare interim and final reports for recommendations.
  • Alert superiors of any abnormal findings.
  • Undertake assignments from heads of department.
