Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer - Pharma Machine – Singapore & South East Asia
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue target
- Identify new business opportunities and expand our client base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders resulting in the highest level of client retention and business growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams of our principals to align strategies and enhance offerings.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and prepare periodic progress reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
- Drive the development of regional sales & marketing strategies.
- Work closely with principal’s marketing and sales team to develop, establish, direct and implement strategies expanding the company's customer base.
- Showcase company's products and services to present and potential clients.
- Identify the areas of improvement for achieving the targets.
- Develop and support regional sales team.
- Active participation in brand establishment.
- Participation in periodic management review meetings.
Educational Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Business Administration and Management / Marketing, or Engineering. Knowledge of machinery for solid dosing line, liquid filling lines, tableting line, packaging line, lyophillizer, isolation/barrier systems, glove integrity tester will be an added advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in selling Pharmaceutical machinery is mandatory.
- Proven sales experience as a Sales Manager in the industrial equipment sector and packaging machinery
- Knowledge of having worked in Singapore & in SEA is a must.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability and capability to understand the technicality of the product.
- Keep abreast with the latest trends.
- Good communication skills and be a TEAM PLAYER.
- Should be organised, motivated, self-driven and quick learner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and partners.
- Conflict Management and resolution.
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel across the sales region.
- Hands-on experience in selling technical products.
- Ability to lead effectively and efficiently a team of at least 3-4 members.
- Achieved the sales targets YoY consistently with the highest customer satisfaction level.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical machinery sales
- Candidates having good contacts in the pharmaceutical industry has a huge advantage.
- Candidates having selling experience in automation industry may be considered.
