Job summary
A leading retail company in pet supplies seeks a Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and manage inventory at various locations in Singapore. Key duties include handling cash transactions, advising customers on pet care, and maintaining product displays. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work retail hours, including weekends. This permanent role offers a salary package with allowances and bonuses.

- Capacity to handle cashiering and payment transactions efficiently.
- Experience in stock management and maintaining product displays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer service and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
- Receive stock, replenish shelves, and maintain product quality.
- Monitor stock expiry dates and cleanliness of the outlet.
Skills

- Position Title: Sales Assistant
- Working Location: Singapore Islandwide (Travelling required)
- Working Hours: 6 Days per week (9.30am – 9.30pm)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Meal & Transport Allowance + Commission + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
- Deliver professional, proactive customer service and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
- Receive incoming stock, replenish shelves, and ensure proper product display.
- Monitor product expiry dates and shelf-life to maintain stock quality.
- Pick and pack items according to customers’ orders.
- Carry out daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and tidy outlet.
- Advise customers on pet care related inquiries
- Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to handle loads up to 10kg (trolley assistance provided)
- Willing to travel within Singapore branch when required.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
