Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle tender evaluations and prepare Bills of Quantity. The ideal candidate should have strong cost estimation skills and experience in budget monitoring for construction projects. This role will involve assessing contractual claims and managing project budgets while coordinating with sub-contractors. Qualifications
- Experience in evaluation of tender and preparation of Bill of Quantity.
- Ability to establish cost databases and assist in project cost calculations.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with sub-contractors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate tender submissions and prepare Bill of Quantity.
- Establish cost databases and monitor project budgets.
- Assist in assessment of contractual claims and cost calculations.
Skills
- Address: Office Ang Mo Kio, Working site at island wide
- Working days: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm // If have urgent things, sat 8.30am to 12.30pm
- Salary: $2800 to $4000
- Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and Bill of Quantity
- Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.
- To calculate the cost of construction for a project (Pre-contract) based om the drawings and documents.
- To assist in the assessment of all contractual claims, work progress, etc.
- To invite sub-contractors of various trades to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotation accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con.
- Preparation of project budgets, reports and cost estimation.
- Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on projects.
- To resolve any outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly
