So, who exactly is a Studio Operator and what does she or he do?

Studio Operator / Videographer is a person that is in charge of day to day operations of our studio and recordings that are taking place daily. Most of the time, Studio Operators are helping our amazing clients record their shows. • Preparing the studio for recording including set preparation, camera, light and sound
• Operating cameras and mixers for audio video production of the podcast
• Reporting to central Poddster team on all recordings that took place in the studio
• Making sure every client receives the best possible quality of the video and audio
• Collecting feedback from the studio customers
• Reflecting on the feedback and making sure customers keep getting best possible service
• Maintaining the relationship with existing customers by being their trusted partner in the production process

• Extraordinary communication skills
• Organized and disciplined
• Developed attention to detail
• There is no problem that cannot be solved attitude
• Has a creative eye for a good shot, scenography, and picture
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of video and audio production
• Able to work independently with camera (SONY FX30), video (ATEM) and audio mixer (RODECASTER)
• 3-5 years of videography experience
• Fluent in English, Mandarin fluency is a plus

• Must be comfortable working in an onsite setting (studio location) as well as remote (client location). There is no travel requirement outside of Singapore.
