Job summary
A leading employment service provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual for a role in a chemical plant. Responsibilities include operating process equipment, conducting plant patrols, and providing maintenance support. The ideal candidate should have experience in chemical plant operations and knowledge of DCS systems. This role requires teamwork and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in chemical plant operations.
- Familiarity with maintenance and analytical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate process equipment according to operational plans.
- Take measures to improve production and equipment performance.
- Conduct plant patrols and report issues.
- Assist in maintenance planning and participate in activities.
Skills
- Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions
- Operate the process equipments at site in accordance with operation plan.
- Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician
- Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipments and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.
- Prepare and organised patrol records
- Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
- Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises.
- Work as shift Analyst , when designed by supervisors
- Perform the role as an auxiliary fire Fighter
- Experience in chemical plant.
- Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
- Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous.
