Who we’re looking for

The workshop department is looking for a highly motivated Workshop Team Leader to join the team.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this position will be based in Singapore, Senoko. The main responsibility of the Workshop Team Leader is to lead a team of technicians, perform high-quality maintenance and repairs on Scania products. Satisfied customers, on-time delivery, and safety at work is achieved by following defined processes, standards, and guidelines. The Workshop Team Leader contributes to customer satisfaction, Scania’s profitability, and safety on our roads.

What you’ll be doing

Workshop production - Optimize the workshop flow by leading and supporting technicians, acting in real time, ensuring safety, quality and cost-efficient job performances

Workshop communication - Secure communication throughout the production and interface with other departments and customers

Workshop planning - Ensure workshop utilization and efficiency by setting routines and planning the work.

Good-to-have
  • Heavy vehicle team leader-related experience, such as repairing and maintenance of heavy vehicles
  • Heavy vehicle related qualification or equivalent
  • Coaching skills
  • Understanding for importance of safety and health policies, procedures and regulations in daily work
Added bonus if you have
  • Possess a valid Singapore class 3 and above driving license
  • Heavy vehicle repair and maintenance knowledge
