Job description
Job Description:
  • Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and enhance safe work practices.
  • Identify deviations, weaknesses, or significant changes in the organization, and risk control measures, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct in-house training programs and other safety-related activities.
  • Perform safety audits and inspections of the company’s worksites to identify and correct potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
  • Assist in maintaining certifications such as ISO45001, Bizsafe Partner/Bizsafe Star certifications.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Requirements:
  • Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer.
  • Must have professional knowledge of WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH Act and Environment).
  • Degree holder in any Engineering Discipline, Building, Safety, or its equivalent, with 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Diploma holder in any Engineering Discipline, Building, Safety, or its equivalent, with 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Applicants with an FSM Certificate are an added advantage.
