Job description

The SumTotal Workforce Management Developer position is a 6-month contract role based in a work-from-home | remote setup. With 5-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining workforce management solutions utilizing SumTotal's suite of tools. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of workforce management processes.Your key responsibilities will include developing custom solutions and integrations using SumTotal Workforce Management tools, assisting in the implementation of SumTotal Workforce Management modules such as Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management, customizing SumTotal applications to align with specific business requirements, and providing ongoing support and maintenance for SumTotal Workforce Management systems. Additionally, you will work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to address and understand the organization's workforce management needs, train end-users and administrators on the effective use of SumTotal Workforce Management tools, and create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes.To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in developing and implementing workforce management solutions, particularly with SumTotal, is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, SQL, and scripting languages, as well as experience with SumTotal APIs and integration tools, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also crucial.Moreover, your development experience should encompass SumTotal/Cornerstone WFM Time & Attendance version 18 or above, senior Java development skills, specific expertise in Java rules development for timecard rules, knowledge of RuleSetXML and ScheduleRulesetXML, experience in developing rules using rule parameters, and a plus would be knowledge of Oracle DB.,
