Job summary

NivA Biz is seeking an experienced Wintel Engineer to ensure the daily availability of Windows servers supporting systems with significant business impact. You will handle OS installations, administration, incident resolution, RCA, infrastructure maintenance, and disaster-recovery activities.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and ITIL-aligned practices, plus hands-on experience with VMware/Hyper-V, AD, clustering, and backup solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive Windows Server troubleshooting and OS management.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup solutions.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cluster and disaster-recovery practices.
• Experience in large enterprise environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Windows-based infrastructure per business requirements.
• Maintain security and availability of Windows infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS incidents and perform RCA.
• Support AD, clustering, and virtualization environments.
• coordinate with vendors for maintenance and incident resolution.
• Develop and maintain DR plans and perform DR exercises.
• Review logs and perform patching and hardening procedures.
• Monitor systems with enterprise monitoring software.
