Job summary

GOLDTECH RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore to support enterprise Windows systems and manage cloud environments. You will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability and driving operational improvements across both on-premises and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in IT and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Windows administration and virtualization technologies.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise Windows, virtualization, endpoint, and cloud environments within a large-scale IT operations setting.

This role will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure availability, supporting workplace technologies, managing Windows platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving operational improvements across both on-premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands‑on experience in Windows administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, endpoint management, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations & Support

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and workplace environments
• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health
• Support patch management, system upgrades, security hardening, and compliance activities
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents and service issues

Windows Platform Administration

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user administration, and access controls
• Support Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services
• Maintain system reliability and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies

• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V
• Manage virtual machines, host environments, and high‑availability configurations
• Support cloud infrastructure services across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments
• Monitor cloud resources, performance, security, and operational stability

Endpoint & Workplace Management

• Support enterprise endpoint platforms and workplace technologies
• Manage software deployment, desktop imaging, patching, and endpoint administration
• Support workplace management tools and infrastructure services
• Troubleshoot desktop, server, and connectivity‑related issues

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
• Support infrastructure automation and process improvement initiatives
• Participate in infrastructure modernization and transformation projects
• Contribute to operational excellence and service improvement programs

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories
• Support change management, testing, and implementation efforts
• Collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, and vendors
• Participate in operational reviews, audits, and governance activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure environments
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy administration
• Hands‑on experience with VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtualization technologies
• Experience supporting endpoint management, software deployment, and patch management activities
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or automation scripting is advantageous
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional technical teams
