Job summary

Nivabiz is seeking an experienced Wintel Engineer to support enterprise Windows infrastructure, endpoint deployment, PC imaging, patch management, software distribution, and cloud integration.

The role involves administering Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and GPOs, plus designing AWS or Azure environments and automating tasks with IaC. You will collaborate with application teams to deploy cloud apps and contribute to disaster recovery, documentation, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related IT discipline.
• Five+ years of relevant Windows infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, AD, PowerShell, and GPOs.
• Experience with workplace-management tools (BigFix, SCCM, Citrix VDI, Nexthink).
• Knowledge of PC imaging, OS deployment, patching, and software distribution.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot endpoint hardware and OS.
• Develop and maintain standard PC images and deployment sequences.
• Plan, implement and support patch-management and software distribution.
• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, PowerShell, and GPOs.
• Support workplace-management platforms such as BigFix, SCCM, Citrix VDI, Nexthink.
• Design, implement and maintain AWS or Azure infrastructure.
• Deploy cloud services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Azure services).
• Automate infrastructure with CloudFormation, Terraform, or PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot cloud, network, and application issues; support DR/BC.
