Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is seeking an Inventory Controller in Singapore to maintain accurate stock records and optimize inventory levels. The role requires data-driven decision making and close coordination with Purchasing and Sales teams.

You will manage data entry, verify discrepancies, and implement controls to minimize losses while supporting reporting and export duties where applicable.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain Accurate Inventory Records

o Input and update inventory data in the system e.g., stock levels, stock adjustments promptly and correctly.

o Data verification with internal team and reconcile discrepancies to ensure system accuracy.

o Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize errors and loss.

• Manage Inventory Level

o Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential shortages, and excess stock

o Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, balancing supply and demand.

• Coordinate with Internal and Stakeholders:

o Collaborate with purchasing and sales to ensure smooth inventory flow.

• Data Analysis and Reporting

o Generate regular inventory reports, summarizing key metrics (e.g., stock turnover, inventory value, stockout rates).

o Identify and analyse trends, provide recommendations for improvement, and support decision-making.

• Administrative Export Duties support, i.e., billing and documentations follow up.
• Additional Responsibilities (May vary depending on company size and structure).

Job Requirements

• ITE and above qualifications.
• At least 1 year and above experience in inventory management.
• Ability to analyse inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
• Understand key metrics like stock turnover, days on hand, and reorder points.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and system – ERP – SAP and Advance Excel.
• Data entry and data management skills.
