Job summary

MP BIOMEDICALS ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a warehouse assistant to manage receipt, storage and issue of inventories (excluding antigen and blood products).

You will pack goods for worldwide delivery, maintain storage accuracy and keep the warehouse tidy and efficient. You will participate in daily warehouse activities such as receiving, sorting, picking, packing and dispatching, ensuring goods are in good condition.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Singapore forklift license is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn internal systems.

• Appropriate packing of goods for delivery worldwide.
• Inventory accuracy and good housekeeping of warehouses.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for receipt, issuance and appropriate storage of inventories (except antigen and blood products) in the Company.
• Responsible for appropriate packing of goods for delivery worldwide.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy and good housekeeping of warehouses.
• Manage and actively participate in daily warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensures that goods received are in good condition and properly stored at designated storage area.
• Issues raw materials against authorized Materials Requisition Slip/Materials Transfer Slip issued by various departments timely.
• Ensures proper maintenance and good housekeeping in the storage facilities.
• Maintains inventories accuracy.
• Undertakes periodic physical inventories in the store.
• Plans and organizes storage of goods efficiently to optimize use of space in the store.
• Packs finished goods/components according to details on packing list for delivery according to guidelines.
• Performs any other related duties that may from time to time be required or assigned.

Requirements:

• Plans and organizes storage of inventory and exercise proper material control on receipt and issue.
• At least 1 - 2 years of relevant working experiences
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, dependable, and well-organized
• Valid Singapore forklift license is preferred
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn internal systems
• Able to carry and move goods safely as required for the role
• Preferred experience in the biomedical, pharmaceutical or scientific products industry would be advantageous
