HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte Limited is seeking a Vice President, Business Development Manager to lead Bancassurance distribution and drive growth across Singapore. You will shape distribution strategies, collaborate with product teams, and build a high-performing sales force in a dynamic insurance environment.

The role requires deep insurance knowledge, strong channel management skills, and the ability to execute strategic plans with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in life insurance, preferably in sales management.
• Strong understanding of life insurance, banking and private banking business lines.
• Ability to execute strategic plans with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement distribution strategies and models to achieve growth and profitability.
• Grow differentiated channels according to Strategic Plan targets to improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product Development to leverage licenses for profitable products.
• Maintain submission-to-inception ratio.
• Lead and train a technical sales team to support consultants and RMs.
• Coordinate training programs for distributors.
• Manage case processing from submission to inception within SLAs.
