Job summary

HSBC Life in Singapore is seeking a Vice President, Business Development Manager (Banca) to drive Bancassurance distribution growth across the Asia-Pacific region. You will develop and implement strategies, lead a dynamic sales team, and collaborate with product and distribution partners to deliver profitable products.

The role requires depth of life insurance knowledge and a minimum of eight years in sales management, with a proven track record of strategic execution and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of life insurance experience, preferably in sales management.
• Strong understanding of life insurance, banking and private banking products and channels.
• Ability to execute strategic plans with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement distribution strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
• Grow differentiated channels per Strategic Plan to improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product Development to leverage licenses for profitable products.
• Lead, train and develop technical sales force for consultants and RMs.
• Coordinate distributor training and branch huddles.
• Oversee case management from submission to inception (SLAs).
