Job summary

HSBC Life Singapore invites a seasoned professional to join as Vice President, Client Management. Lead profitable growth in the health portfolio, oversee underwriting cases and broker relationships, and drive portfolio strategies across international brokers with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

You will mentor junior underwriters, prepare quotations within tight turnaround times, and ensure compliance with guidelines while developing scalable processes and reporting to monitor

Qualifications

• Experience in health insurance and broker management.
• University degree with HI/M5/M9 insurance papers.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Underwriting and key account management skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for profitable growth in the health portfolio in line with targets.
• Underwrite business cases per guidelines to achieve portfolio profitability.
• Identify and mitigate insurance risk; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare new business and renewal quotations within turnaround times; respond to clients promptly.
• Develop and refine processes, service levels and policy wording; deliver monitoring reports.
• Coach and mentor 1 or 2 junior underwriters.
• Manage relationships with key international brokers to grow client portfolio.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow profitable businesses and retain a healthy health portfolio.
