Job summary

ISS M&E PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive hospitality professional to warmly welcome guests, escort them to reserved seats, and support events from setup to teardown.

You will review arrival lists, coordinate VIPs, respond to general queries, liaise with housekeeping for cleanliness, and ensure rooms, AV, and equipment are ready. The role emphasizes quick responsiveness, superior service, and delivering memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers in a courteous and prompt manner, ensure all customers are greeted properly and escorted to their reserved seats
• Setting up for events including tear down after events
• Review arrival list for all arrivals, taking note of VIPs and those with special requests
• Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures of VIP customers
• Provide full assistance to customers concerning general queries at the lounge
• Anticipate customers' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency at all times
• Deliver the highest quality and service standards to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations
• Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages
• Ensure drink recipes and procedures are clearly followed
• Ensure proper labelling and refrigeration of food items
• Furnish clients with above and beyond service to ensure a memorable and genuine experience
• Expect and react promptly to customers' requirements and inquiries
• Review, monitor and resolve all customers' requests, feedback and all issues pertaining to service standards and communicate information to all relevant departments
• Liaise closely with Housekeeping/cleaners to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work area
• Ensure all customers' incidents are updated in the profile for records and future references
• Ensure meeting rooms and event space are user ready (e.g, AV working, connecting cables are working, chairs in place, remote control batteries, whiteboard markers/dusters
• First line of troubleshooting for room or AV set up issues at event venue
