Job description
Key responsibilities
  • In charge of operation planning and management in Asia regions.
  • Promote and lead the project to implement new Global Core Banking Systems to branches in Asia from business side.
  • Promote business consignment to outsourcing subsidiary in India to adapt to enlarge the capacity and low cost operation.
  • Establish a plan to develop core operation member in Asia regions and promote the education.
  • Lead the Provide solution to branches in order to improve operational efficiency.
  • Preparing and presenting management including board members in both English and Japaneselanguage.
What you should have:
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking and an intimate knowledge of banking operations and systems infrastructure.
  • Prior experience of operations planning, enhance operational excellence PJ, in a managerial/leadership position in financial institution is required.
  • Expertise in analysis of banking operation processes and operational errors, creation of banking operation procedure and planning of business continuity management will be strongly encouraged.
  • Experience in system integration and deployment in Asian countries will be strongly encouraged.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel for business trips to branch offices on demand basis.
  • Business‑level proficiency in both English and Japanese is mandatory as the incumbent is expected to read & understand documents as well as respond, communicate and lead a meeting with project members including board members in Tokyo (Head Office) in these two languages.
