Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on-site. The role includes monitoring site progress, coordinating subcontractor performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Summary Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) construction activities on-site under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily site progress, manpower, and subcontractor performance.
  • Review and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Attend project meetings, prepare progress reports, and update management on project status.
  • Manage project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise materials, tools, and equipment delivery, ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings with consultants before work execution.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct on-site/off-site inspections prior to handover.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
