Job summary

Persol Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a Patient Service Associate for its Urgent Care department. You will be the frontline contact across phone, online and walk-in channels, coordinating consultations, labs and imaging while escalating urgent cases as needed.

You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage billing, including cash/e-payment and corporate invoicing. The role requires rotating shifts, accuracy in records, and compliance with privacy rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum N/O Level, Nitec or Diploma in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for inquiries via phone, online and walk-ins; book consultations, labs and imaging, escalate critical symptoms to triage nurse.
• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance; keep accurate records per policies.
• Manage billing including payment collection, corporate billing, and reconciliation; explain service charges.
• Handle patient feedback and complaints; escalate to supervisors as needed; assist service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards; maintain records and audit documentation per data protection rules.
• Perform admin tasks including reports, correspondence, and inventory; provide vendor feedback.
• Work rotating shifts with punctual attendance, proper handovers, and uphold service standards during busy periods.
