Job summary

Salesforce Singapore is seeking an Industry Solutions Architect - Solution Engineer to lead advisory for Travel, Transport and Hospitality during pre-sales, translating business objectives into actionable recommendations and accelerating deals.

You will partner with sales and technical teams, build trusted relationships with senior executives, and develop innovative solutions while collaborating across disciplines and traveling occasionally.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
Exposure to Design Thinking, Consulting methodologies and Enterprise Architecture would be an added advantage
A broad understanding of and ability to articulate the benefits of Cloud Computing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing and Mobile solutions.
Business case/value engineering experience to drive compelling points of view
Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills and relationship skills
Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in a varied environment
Translate these needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers
Translating/Presenting/Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries
Deep industry expertise in Travel, Transport and Hospitality Industry
Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organisation.

Responsibilities

Manage enterprise organisations in Travel, Transport and Hospitality to understand challenges and goals through discovery sessions and workshops.
Work closely with current and prospective customers as trusted advisor to understand unique challenges and goals.
Build trusted relationships with senior executives and decision makers across Business and Technology.
Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions and concepts aligned to business value.
Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle with internal and external resources.
Clearly articulate Salesforce benefits to stakeholders from staff to C-level executives.
Present compelling Salesforce and partner solutions while supporting relationships with customers and partners.
Collaborate with Product and Partners to ensure regional priorities are addressed.
Display initiative and deliver high-quality results for internal and external customers.
Grow career through internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
