Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Industry Solutions Architect - Solution Engineer to lead the Travel, Transport and Hospitality advisory during the pre-sales cycle, translating business objectives into compelling, actionable recommendations and accelerating deals.

You will partner with sales, product and customers to craft differentiated cloud solutions, demonstrate ROI, and guide stakeholders from front-line staff to C-level executives through the value of Salesforce and partner offerings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline required.
• Exposure to Design Thinking, consulting methodologies and enterprise architecture is a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud, SFA, service & support, marketing and mobile solutions.
• Ability to build business cases and articulate value to customers.
• Knowledge of relational databases and web technologies.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can solve technical problems in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
• Capable of translating customer needs into a compelling vision and roadmap.
• Travel willingness to support client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise Travel, Transport and Hospitality accounts with discovery sessions.
• Partner with sales as a trusted advisor to understand challenges and goals.
• Develop and deliver innovative, differentiating solution concepts.
• Lead the full solution cycle with cross-functional teams.
• Articulate the benefits of Salesforce to diverse stakeholders from staff to C-level.
• Present compelling Salesforce and partner solutions to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Product and Partners on regional priorities.
• Display initiative and deliver high-quality results for internal and external customers.
• Commit to internal training and mentorship programs and grow your career.
• Orchestrate multiple internal and external resources through the sales cycle.
