Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Industry Solutions Architect - Solution Engineer to guide pre-sales advisory for Insurance and related industries. You will translate business objectives into compelling, actionable recommendations and accelerate deals, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.

You will lead discovery with executives, design innovative custom solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to map requirements to business value. Occasional travel applies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Exposure to Design Thinking, consulting methodologies and enterprise architecture is a plus.
• Broad understanding of Cloud, SFA/Service & Support, Marketing and Mobile solutions.
• Business case/value engineering experience to drive compelling viewpoints.
• Knowledge of relational databases and web technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise insurers through discovery and workshops to understand challenges and goals.
• Partner with customers as a trusted advisor to uncover business issues and desired outcomes.
• Develop and present differentiated custom solutions and concepts to executives.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to drive end-to-end solution delivery.
• Articulate Salesforce benefits to diverse stakeholders from staff to C‑level.
• Travel occasionally to engage with customers and partners as needed.
