Qualifications

Job Description

TRANSPORT PLANNER

Requirements

• Preferably with 2-3 years of experience in Traffic / Transportation-related fields. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Traffic / Transportation Engineering.
• Provide technical lead and study for Road Design Works and Traffic Layout Plan (TLP) / Traffic Control Plan (TCP) works.
• Proficient in drafting Setting Out Plans (SET), Cross Longitudinal Section (CLS) drawings, and Traffic Control Plans (TCP) / Temporary Layout Plans (TLP) in compliance with local and international design standards for submission and approval.
• Knowledge on Project Safety Review (PSR) & Traffic Management, Transport Impact Assessment (TIA) study related projects and the production of technical reports is an advantage.
• Possess strong initiative, effective communication, and leadership skills, combined with lateral thinking ability.
• To provide professional advice to developers, consultants, and other agencies on various traffic studies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and AutoTurn. Knowledge in SIDRA software is an advantage.
• Having the certificate in “Road Safety Reviewer Accreditation Course” is an advantage.
• Make international travels to countries of which TTS Group has operations or businesses in to assist in projects or company related activities.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport safety & traffic management principles and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior roles.
