The role involves monitoring vehicle status, providing real-time updates, and preparing performance reports to support management decisions. Candidates should be able to work odd hours and hold a valid Class 3 driving licence with experience in 14ft boxed trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Experience driving 14ft boxed trucks.
• Willingness to work odd hours such as late nights or early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize delivery driver movements to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Provide real-time updates on job progress using the system to support operational transparency.
• Monitor truck and delivery status to allocate resources efficiently and improve delivery performance.
• Verify driver delivery payouts and incentives to ensure correct compensation.
• Prepare reports for management to track delivery performance and operational metrics.
• Ensure KPIs are met to maintain service standards.
• Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and servicing to ensure fleet reliability.
• Resolve operational issues encountered by drivers promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
• Perform additional duties to support logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Traffic Controller coordinates and optimizes delivery fleet movements to ensure timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and effective communication with drivers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize the movement of delivery drivers to meet customer delivery requirements
• Provide real-time updates on job progress using the system to support operational transparency
• Monitor truck and delivery status to allocate resources efficiently and improve delivery performance
• Verify accuracy of driver delivery payouts and incentives to ensure correct compensation
• Prepare reports for management to track delivery performance and operational metrics
• Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met to maintain service standards
• Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and servicing to ensure fleet reliability
• Resolve operational issues encountered by drivers promptly to minimize delivery disruptions
• Comply with statutory and company safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations at all times
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (added advantage)
• Experience driving 14ft boxed trucks (added advantage)
• Willingness to work odd hours (e.g., 11pm-1am and/or 6-7am)
