Job summary

GLOBAL FEEDER SHIPPING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented pricing and trade support professional to manage daily pricing, DF administration, and BSA planning. You will coordinate with Sales, LMD and local offices to maximise revenue opportunities through accurate records and compliant processes.

Entry-level candidates are welcome as training will be provided; strong numeracy, communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in a fast-paced shipping environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field in shipping profession is an added- advantage.

Responsibilities

• Pricing management and quotations in line with approved guidelines.
• Support daily pricing inquiries from Sales.
• Provide BSA adjustment before each cycle and coordinate with LMD/local offices to optimise utilisation.
• Administer Deadfreight (DF) contracts, BAF updates, billing, filing and invoice tracking.
• Maintain accurate system records for rates, contracts, allocations and amendments.
• Monitor CRR/SRR filings, pre-loading payments and booking status; ensure SOP compliance.
• Prepare regular reports on pricing, DF performance, space utilisation and commercial activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, LMD, Finance and local offices to ensure smooth execution of commercial processes.
• Support ad-hoc commercial projects and process improvements.

Job description

The Role:

To support the Trade & Pricing team in managing daily pricing, deadfreight administration, BSA allotment, and commercial coordination activities to ensure smooth trade operations and maximise revenue opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Pricing Management

• Prepare quotations in accordance with approved pricing guidelines.
• Support daily pricing enquiries from Sales.

2. BSA Planning & Capacity Management

• Provide BSA adjustment before commencement of each cycle.
• Coordinate with LMD and local offices to optimise utilisation.

3. Deadfreight(DF) Administration

• Administer Deadfreight(DF) contracts, BAF updates, billing, filing, and invoice tracking.

4. System& Record Management

• Maintain accurate system records, including rates, contracts, allocations, and amendments.

5. Trade Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor CRR/SRR filings, pre-loading payments, and booking status.
• Ensure compliance with Trade SOPs and internal pricing policies.

6. Reporting& Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on pricing, DF performance, space utilisation, and commercial activities.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, LMD, Finance, and local offices to ensure smooth execution of commercial processes.

8. Projects& Continuous Improvement

• Support ad-hoc commercial projects and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field in shipping profession is an added- advantage.
