Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Trade Operations Specialist (Bulk Metal) to oversee order fulfillment, prepare shipping documents, and manage LC-related payments. You will coordinate with banks, warehouses, and overseas offices to ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements, leveraging Excel for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in trade operations for non-ferrous metals.
• Experience with LC, UCP600 and bank negotiations.
• Familiarity with Incoterms CIF, CFR, Ex Works.
• Experience with container shipments and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee order fulfillment and shipment requirements per contracts.
• Prepare shipping documents and verify supplier payments.
• Generate invoices and ensure LC compliance with banks.
• Manage warehouse duties: stock reconciliation and month-end.
• Track shipments and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain shipment status and cash flow records in systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with overseas offices and warehouse providers for docs.
• Execute additional tasks as directed.
