Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd, a fast-growing construction company in Singapore, is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ubi. We specialise in building construction, design and build, project management, A&A works, and engineering solutions for commercial, industrial, hospitality and institutional projects.

You will manage procurement, cost control, and tender evaluation, working with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value and compliance with SIA and PSSCOC forms.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Building Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and procurement.
• Proficient in quantity take-off software and Excel.
• Knowledge of local procurement processes and standard forms (SIA, PSSCOC).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, invite, and compile quotations for materials and trade works.
• Perform cost comparisons, quantity take-offs, and budget analyses.
• Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing and terms.
• Prepare subcontract and supply documents and final letters of award.
• Monitor market trends and supplier options to optimize costs.

Our Client, specializes in building construction, design and build, project management, A&A (Addition & Alteration) works, foundation works, and engineering solutions for commercial, industrial, hospitality, and institutional projects, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position ofQuantity Surveyor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source, invite, and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and specialized trade works to support project procurement.

• Perform detailed cost comparisons, quantity take-offs, and budget analyses to evaluate tenders against budgeted allowances for informed decision-making.

• Conduct commercial negotiations with vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and strong contractual clauses.

• Prepare, draft, and finalize letters of award, subcontract documents, and supply agreements in compliance with industry-standard templates.

• Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and alternative suppliers to optimize company cost-efficiency and procurement strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Building Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and procurement within the Singapore construction industry.

• Proficient in quantity take-off software and Microsoft Excel.

• Good knowledge of local construction procurement processes, standard contract forms (e.g. SIA, PSSCOC), and material specifications.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to build and maintain good relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

• Location : Ubi

• Working Days/Hours: 5 days, 8.30am-6.30pm

• Salary: Gross $5300 higher (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
