Job summary

CLO Haus Pte Ltd, a design and build firm in Singapore, seeks a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to manage contractual and financial aspects of smart home projects. You will ensure projects stay within budget, on time, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include cost estimates, tendering, VO handling, cost reporting, and final account closeouts, with close coordination across PMs, site teams and designers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline.
• Experience in Singapore construction industry preferred.
• Landed residential/A&A experience is an advantage.
• Able to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Good quantity take-off and costing skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle ongoing projects independently.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender quotations and quantity take-off.
• Prepare and manage variation orders (VO).
• Monitor project budget and cost control.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims.
• Maintain project cost reports and commercial records.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and designers.
• Prepare and close project final accounts; highlight risks to Contract Manager.
• Assist in updating the Tender Price Book.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle ongoing projects independently
• Prepare cost estimates, tender quotations and quantity take-off
• Prepare and manage variation orders (VO)
• Monitor project budget and cost control
• Obtain and compare subcontractor / supplier quotations
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims
• Maintain project cost reports and commercial records
• Attend site meetings when required
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and designers

• Assist in updating the company annual Tender Price Book

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline
• Experience in Singapore construction industry preferred
• Landed residential / reconstruction / A&A experience is an advantage
• Able to read architectural and structural drawings
• Good quantity take-off and costing skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Able to handle multiple projects independently
