Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Procurement professional to support our Singapore construction projects at Ubi Road. You will source, evaluate quotations, and manage subcontractor agreements to meet project budgets.

The role requires 3 to 6 years of experience, proficiency in take-off software and Excel, and strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive cost-efficiency and compliant procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Building Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of quantity surveying and procurement experience in the Singapore construction sector.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of local procurement processes and standard contract forms (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC).
• Strong negotiation, analytical and interpersonal communication skills to manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source, invite, and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and specialized trade works to support project procurement.
• Perform detailed cost comparisons, quantity take-offs, and budget analyses to evaluate tenders against budgeted allowances for informed decision-making.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and strong contractual clauses.
• Prepare, draft, and finalize letters of award, subcontract documents, and supply agreements in compliance with industry-standard templates.
• Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and alternative suppliers to optimize cost-efficiency and procurement strategies.

Working Days/Timings: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.20pm
