Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to join its commercial team on major building and infrastructure projects. You will handle pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management activities.

The role requires a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines, experience in building/construction in Singapore, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with commercial management and QS processes in construction.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management activities.
• Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender evaluations.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage subcontract administration, progress claims, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and assess variation orders, extension of time, loss & expense and contractual claims.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates for project management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
• Identify commercial risks and support appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Support the Project Manager and commercial team in achieving project cost and contractual objectives.

Our client is an establishedA1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in delivering major building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. Due to continued project growth, they are looking forSenior Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge ofmeasurement, tendering, contract administration, cost control and subcontract management.
• Experience withvariation orders, progress claims, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices in Singapore.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Location: Depending on project (HQ / South / North)
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$6,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
