Job summary

Clo Haus Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial aspects of smart home projects. You will ensure budgets are met, costs controlled, and variations managed across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include cost estimates, tendering, VO management, subcontractor claims, and close collaboration with project managers, site teams and designers to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in Singapore construction industry preferred.
• Landed residential / reconstruction / A&A experience is an advantage.
• Able to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Good quantity take-off and costing skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Able to handle multiple projects independently.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Organized, responsible and detail-oriented.

• Prepare and manage variation orders (VO).
• Monitor project budget and cost control.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor / supplier quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims.
• Maintain project cost reports and commercial records.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and designers.
• Prepare and close project final accounts; highlight commercial risks and cost overruns to Contract Manager.
• Assist in updating the company annual Tender Price Book.
