Job summary

Keyence Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide consultative, solution-based sales across a range of manufacturing industries. You will train to become an expert on Keyence products and deliver technical consultations to customers in face-to-face meetings.

You will travel to customer locations about three days a week and visit HQ for initial training. The role emphasizes proactive, process-driven sales and the ability to contribute to strategic territory planning.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Interest and aptitude to master highly technical products.
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time (including overnight).

Responsibilities

• Attend product and application training at Keyence Singapore Head Office (paid).
• Develop understanding of Keyence products through classes and on-the-job training.
• Provide technical consultation and service to customers to solve applications using Keyence products.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week to sell products and services.
• Coordinate account strategy and contribute to territory plan.
• Deliver growth in market share within assigned sales territory.
• Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
