Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Sales Engineer to join a world leader in factory automation. You will learn consultative, solution-based sales and visit manufacturers in your territory to advise on quality control and design applications.

With paid training at our Singapore Head Office, you will become an expert on our products through classes and on‑the‑job training, and travel to customer sites about three days per week to drive growth and build market share.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen and pro‑actively respond to customer questions.
• Goal‑oriented and hardworking with a desire to contribute.
• Willingness to travel.
• Preferably Degree in Business/Engineering related field.
• Interest in mastering highly technical products.

Responsibilities

• Attend product and application training in Singapore Head Office (paid).
• Develop understanding of products and applications through classes and on‑the‑job training.
• Provide technical consultation to customers to solve applications using company’s products.
• Respond promptly to customer requests.
• Secure new customers consistently in assigned territory.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week and sell products/services.
• Coordinate account strategy and contribute to territory plans.
• Implement new product launch strategies.
• Deliver growth in market share within territory.
• Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
