Job summary

KEYENCE SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a Sales Engineer to learn consultative, solution-based sales and become an expert on Keyence products. You will train at the Head Office, then visit manufacturers three days a week to provide technical consultation and drive growth.

You will travel about 60% of the time, develop deep product knowledge, and support customers across diverse industries with a proactive, process-oriented sales approach.

Qualifications

• Preferably Degree in Business/Engineering related degree.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen and pro-actively react to customer questions and requests.
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Attend product and application training at Keyence Singapore Head Office in Singapore (paid).
• Develop understanding of Keyence products and applications through classes and on-the-job training.
• Provide technical consultation and service to customers to solve applications using Keyence products.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week to sell products/services across manufacturing industries.
• Coordinate account strategy and territory planning; implement new product-launch strategies.
• Deliver growth in market share within assigned sales territory.
