Job summary

Our client, a Singapore-based industrial automation solutions provider, seeks a Sales Engineer (Manufacturing Technology) to drive growth and deliver tailored technical solutions. The role focuses on developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and presenting commercial offers.

Training on the company’s processes and products will be provided, with on-site work in the western region of Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
• Prior experience in industrial automation or related industries is advantageous.
• Valid Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; stakeholder engagement at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industries to drive sales growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and commercial offers tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve sales objectives.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that meet operational requirements.
