DESIGNATION : Technical Co‑ordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the studios are in order, including studio set, equipment to ensure a smooth production of the News & Current Affairs programmes for CNA and all news bulletins transmission on Mediacorp channels.
• Assist Automation Directors on all responsibilities for the execution of daily news bulletins and current affairs programmes for both automated and traditional galleries.
• Liaise with Producers, Automation Directors and Graphic Designers to meet technical and operational requirements during live transmission and ensure that editorial intentions are met, with the highest production standards maintained.
• The incumbent will also be equipped with the right skills required for new and developing tools to deliver high quality production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience in similar live production is ideal, with experience working with systems such as Vizrt, EVS, Mosart, Lawo and Yamaha audio mixers.
• Minimum a Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Video Production/ Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Audio Engineering or its equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are also welcomed as training will be given.
• Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task.
• Effective communicator and a good team player.
• Good organizational and project management skills are necessary.
• Shift work required to accommodate the production requirements. Must be willing to work nights, on irregular shift including weekends and public holidays
